Nuno Ramalho












É artista plástico. Licenciado em Escultura pela FBAUP (1999), possui um mestrado em New Genres pelo San Francisco Art Institute (2008), e é doutorado em Arte pela FBAUP (2020; e Goldsmiths, entre 2011 e 2016). Desde 1999 que tem participado em diversas exposições individuais e coletivas em Portugal, Brasil, Espanha, Estados Unidos da América, Noruega, Reino Unido, Rússia e Alemanha. Foi curador de vários projetos expositivos, e é responsável pelo programa mensal de vídeo arte ‘Playlist’, iniciado em 2016, no Porto. A sua obra está representada em instituições como Estado Português, CAV, Novo Banco ou Fundação de Serralves, e em diversas coleções particulares. Artista residente na Triangle France, foi um dos nomeados para o prémio EDP Novos Artistas em 2004. Foi bolseiro Fulbright e da Fundação Gulbenkian.



Is an artist. He graduated in Sculpture from FBAUP (1999), holds a MFA in New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute (2008), and a PhD in Art, which he started at Goldsmiths, from FBAUP (2020). Since 1999 his work was shown in many solo and group exhibitions in Portugal, Brazil, Spain, United States of America, Norway, United Kingdom, Russia and Germany. He has also been the curator of several exhibition projects, and is responsible for ‘Playlist’, a monthly series exhibiting video art from Portugal, which he started in 2006. His work is represented in institutions such as CAV, Novo Banco or Fundação de Serralves, as well as in several private collections. He was artist-in-residence at Triangle France, and one of the nominees of the EDP New Artists 2004 award. He was a Fulbright fellow, and also won a scholarship from the Gulbenkian Foundation.
