Matisse Mesnil










Matisse Mesnil was born in Castiglion Fiorentino (Italy) in 1989. He lives and works in Paris (France). He is a visual artist who has also worked as a film set designer. He is interested in urban spaces, in particular the dialogue between landscape and surroundings. His work pays particular attention to what Gilles Clément defined as a third landscape, namely the liminal spaces where the natural and the artificial meet. 

Currently, he benefits from a studio at Poush, in Aubervilliers.



Matisse Mesnil est né à Castiglion Fiorentino (Italie) en 1989. Il vit et travaille à Paris (France).
Matisse Mesnil est un artiste plasticien qui a également travaillé en tant que décorateur de cinéma. Il s'intéresse aux espaces urbains, notamment au dialogue entre paysage et environnement. Son travail porte une attention particulière à ce que Gilles Clément a défini comme tiers paysage, à savoir les espaces liminaux où le naturel et l'artificiel se rencontrent.

Actuellement, il bénéficie d’un atelier à Poush, à Aubervilliers.
