Mª Covadonga Barreiro












Licenciada em Belas Artes (2006) e doutorada pela Universidade de Vigo (2012). Frequentou também o Mestrado em Direção de Arte em publicidade (Universidade de Vigo, 2014). Tem exposto em diversas instituições nacionais e internacionais e recebido prémios pela sua trajetória académica (Prémio Extraordinário de Licenciatura, Prémio Extraordinário Doutoramento e Prémio de Investigação em Humanidades da Deputação de Pontevedra) e pelo seu trabalho artístico (Prémio Novos Valores, Primeiro Prémio no Certame de Artes Plásticas da Deputação de Ourense). Atualmente é investigadora do Centro de Estudos Arnaldo Araújo (Grupo de Arte e Estudos Críticos), docente na Escola Superior Artística do Porto desde 2014 e Professora Associada na Universidade de Vigo (Espanha) desde 2017.



Degree in Fine Arts (2006) and PhD at Vigo University (2012). She exhibited at several national and international institutions and received awards for her academic career (Extraordinary Degree Award, Extraordinary Doctorate Award and Prize for Research in the Humanities of the Pontevedra Municipality) and for his artistic work (New Values Award, first prize at the fine arts exhibition of the Ourense Municipality). She is currently a researcher at CEAA - Arnaldo Araújo Research Center (Art and Critical Studies research group), a professor at ESAP - Escola Superior Artística do Porto since 2014 and an Associate Professor at the University of Vigo since 2017.
