Alberto Samaniego












Doutorado em Filosofia e Mestre em Estética e Teoria das Artes pela Universidade Autónoma de Madrid. Professor titular de Estética e Teoria das Artes da Universidade de Vigo. Foi Director da Fundação Luis Seoane, Corunha (2008-2011). É co-director (com Miguel Ángel Ramos) da colecção Larva, de textos e catálogos de arte e estética, da Editorial Maia-Abada. Prémio Espais de crítica de arte. Editor do livro Mitos de fin de siglo (Pontevedra, 2000). Comissário do Pavilhão Espanhol na 52ª edição da Bienal de Arte de Veneza (2007). Comissariou exposições de vários artistas e colectivas de arte contemporânea como La Isla Futura: arte joven cubano; Arte y nihilismo; 5000 años de arte moderno; Campos de la imagen. Grafías de los hechos y del pensamiento. Comissariou também, na Fundación Luis Seoane, diversas exposições.



PhD in Philosophy and Master in Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts (Madrid Autonomous University). Professor of Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts (Vigo University). He was director of the Luis Seoane Foundation, Coruña (2008-2011). Currently, Co-director (with Miguel Ángel Ramos) of the Larva collection of texts and catalogues on art and aesthetics (Editorial Mayan-Abada). Espais Award for art criticism. Editor of the book Mitos de fin de siglo (Pontevedra, 2000). He was curator of the Spanish Pavilion at the 52nd Venice Biennale (2007) and of various individual and collective contemporary art exhibitions, such as La Isla Futura: arte joven cubano; Arte y nihilismo; 5000 años de arte moderno; Campos de la imagen. Grafías de los hechos y del pensamiento. He was also curator of several exhibitions at Luis Seoane Foundation.
